ABOUT

MELBI Pictures is a Rome-based film and television development company focused on originating, developing and packaging projects from their earliest creative stages.

We develop original concepts and selected screenplays, shaping each project creatively and strategically and building the elements needed to move it towards production.

From story development and production planning to talent packaging and industry partnerships, MELBI develops each project through an advanced stage of creative and production development, building a strong package ready to engage with the producers, co-producers and industry partners best suited to take it forward.

On their honeymoon aboard a luxury cruise, a couple discovers they're expecting a baby — and that they've both lost their jobs. HOW WE WORK

MELBI develops projects through a creative-producer approach, bringing together writing, development, production planning and packaging from the earliest stages.

For each project, MELBI identifies and builds relationships with the producers, co-producers, talent and industry partners best suited to its creative identity, scale and production needs.

Our model is project-driven: we build the project first, then build the right producing partnership around it.
